Benefits of taking aspirin every day

Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and widely known as analgesic, and a fever reliever. It was developed in 19th century and known to decrease the coagulation of the blood. As of our generation today, aspirin is used immediately to patients who just had a heart attack in order to prevent cardiac tissue death.

Aside for the treatment for moderate to severe pain, therapeutic uses of aspirin also includes: for inflammatory joint conditions, rheumatic arthritis, prevention of stroke, treatment for CAD and myocardial infarction.

Taking aspirin should be closely monitored by your physician because there are many conditions that we need to consider before taking medication like aspirin. Aspirin is not advisable to take for those patients with peptic ulcer, bleeding disorder, and people who are allergic to aspirin.

Daily taking of aspirin is only advisable to those people who had history of heart attack and would want to prevent another attack to happen. You should seek first medical advice for daily dose of it. If you had any medical problem, include it during history taking for further management especially if its all about bleeding problem.
