Are painkillers really working?


Continual pain is the main reason why people seek immediately medical care. Do you know that pain is one of our body’s very important communication tools? It is the one that telling us that there is something wrong in our body and we need to know if effective and working painkillers are needed to manage it.

Pain is usually causes by a cut from a finger, pouring alcohol on a cut, accidentally placing hand in a stove and many more.  It has characteristics as burning, sharp, throbbing, aching, cramping, or unbearable.

Many painkillers really work to relieve pain either acute or chronic type of pain. When any part of our body got injured or in a constant pain, specific nerve endings send the pain message to our brain. Painkillers are the one who is responsible in blocking the messages in any part of the message circle and directly relieves the pain.

Painkillers are usually based on two drugs: Aspirin and Opiates. Aspirin relieves pain by healing the inflammation process and stopping the transmission of pain to the brain such as in sore throat or arthritis. While Opiates contains substance morphine which very effective and active component to alleviates pain. There are still many kinds of medication classifies as painkillers, but make sure to consult your physician because some of these are very addictive if using it improperly.
