Brain cells are in danger if we smoke

As what our television always advertising “smoking is dangerous to your health”, yes the saying speaks on itself. Smoking can put your health at danger as well as with your family, your society, and to your environment. Smoking causes more than 100,000 deaths in UK each year and of these deaths, 42,000 are from smoking-related cancers, 30,600 from heart disease and 29,000 die because of chronic lung disease and emphysema.

Many chemical are present in the cigarette and one of these is nicotine that is very addictive and toxic to our body especially to our organs. If you smoke cigarette containing nicotine, your body always want to smoke after another. If nicotine is inhaled into the lungs, it will eventually pass into your bloodstream and will reach the brain within 10 seconds and for sure will cause further damage in the brain cells. If our brain cells are in danger, our intellectual capacity will become low.

Aside from braincell damage smoking can also cause hypertension, aneurysm, lung cancer, mouth and larynx cancer and many more. Slowly quitting smoking can help restore your healthy body and aside from that, it can save your money too. Consult your doctor for some tips to avoid having so much widrawal syndrome.
