Are pregnancy tests reliable- how sure it is?

What is pregnancy test

Pregnancy Test is done to recognize if woman’s urine sample contains human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) also known as pregnancy hormone.

How is it done?

Pregnancytest kit can be purchased over the counter in any pharmacies nationwide. Equipments included in the kits are urine collection cup, dropper syringe or dipstick. If you prefer to use kits with urine collection cup all you have to do is to collect urine then using dropper place 5-6 drops of urine directly to the test disk. Then wait for some couple of minutes for the result as stated in the instruction manual.

Doing pregnancy test is not risky to our health. The only risk with this method is reading wrong result. If you happen to read a positive result, the best thing to do is to consult a physician to confirm it. If you have negative result but you doubted about it, repeat the test or just simply go directly to a doctor. Consulting doctor is the only and best step that you choose if you want to know your health condition because above all any test, their assessment are more reliable.
